“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” John 3:18
My name is Esteban Rosas. I am a recent addition to the Mary Immaculate School family. I am very proud to be serving the community as part of the faculty. After obtaining my Bachelor’s degree from the University of California Santa Cruz, I returned to Pacoima and began my educational career as an instructional aide within the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. After which I transitioned into full time substitute teaching with the Archdiocese and public school districts, while also teaching art to seniors with degenerative mental conditions. In Sept. 2017, I joined the Mary Immaculate School family as the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math teacher (STEM). I now have the privilege of serving the school community as the 5th grade teacher.
I strive to educate my students in the same way I live my life. Always active, curious and striving for improvement. I am a long distance runner and regularly compete in various events. My passions include teaching, making art, and writing. I consider myself a lifelong learner as I am always looking for new knowledge to help me change the world around me. I hope to instill these value in my students to make them active, happy, and effective learners.
